The National Institute of Health notes that bipolar disorder is a “brain disorder that causes unusual shifts in mood, energy, activity levels, and the ability to carry out day-to-day tasks.” This is a difficult disorder to live with and why the Asian Network of Bipolar Disorder (ANBD) and the International Bipolar Foundation (IBPF) created World Bipolar Day (WBD) on March 30 every year.
World Bipolar Day, according to the International Society for Bipolar Disorders, seeks to be a platform for global education, open discussion, and better sensitivity regarding bipolar disorder. It’s an opportunity for those that struggle with this disorder to connect and gain helpful resources and relationships that can change their lives.
With bipolar disorder affecting over 60 million people globally, we at Sonic Alert are proud to stand with and support those who struggle with this disorder. We also seek to craft our products to be especially valuable to them. One of the best examples is the SBW100 or The Sonic Glow Alarm Clock. What’s great about this alarm clock is it has a calming nightlight. It also allows you to plug in and play your favorite relaxing music. To boot, it supplies an ambient sound to help one fall asleep. It could be perfect for someone struggling with bipolar disorder.
It’s not the only alarm clock we have that can be a wonderful item for someone with bipolar disorder. The SB700 and SB700SS, The Sonic Blast, may be the complete package. While it also has the ability to stream your favorite music and features a nightlight, it features Bluetooth wireless audio and an ambient white noise sleep assist. For someone with a shifting mood, this product may be an item that could help stabilize a person’s mood and allow for a more relaxed sleep.
We believe in not only providing a product but a service as well to all of our customers. We want them to feel as if their lives are being changed because of the products we sell. We seek to make an impact on the world our customers live in and make things better for them. On this World Bipolar Day, we hope to be part of the positive change in the world this day brings and our products allow for.
